1. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small values a website may ask a browser to retain and send with later requests. Local storage is a different browser facility: values remain available to scripts on the same origin but are not automatically attached to every HTTP request. This policy covers both technologies so the banner terminology does not obscure what the code actually uses.
The supplied website sets no application cookies. It stores only the choice you make in the privacy banner, using local storage. That choice contains no password, generated credential, score, name, email address, or unique advertising identifier.
2. Storage inventory
| Category | Name / technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | securecheck-cookie-choice-v1 Local storage, not a cookie | Remember accept, reject, or essential-only choice | Until replaced or site data is cleared |
| Analytics | None installed | No visit measurement or behavioral analytics | Not applicable |
| Functional | No optional functional storage | No saved passwords, tool history, or contact drafts | Not applicable |
| Advertising | None installed | No targeting, remarketing, or cross-site identifiers | Not applicable |
Transient interface state, such as an open menu or a visible password, is held in the current page rather than persistent site storage. Your operating system’s clipboard is separate and is used only when you request copying.
3. What the buttons do
Accept All records an accept preference. Reject Non-Essential records a reject preference. Because no optional technologies are installed, both choices leave analytics, advertising, and optional functional storage off. Accepting does not load an additional script or grant permission for future tracking that is not described here.
Preferences opens a panel showing the actual categories. Its save button records an essential-only preference. You can reopen this panel using Cookie settings in any page footer or the button below. A recognized saved choice prevents the banner from reappearing on ordinary reloads and navigation on the same origin.
4. Remove or block storage in your browser
In Chrome, open Settings, then Privacy and security, and locate site data or site settings. Search for this domain and remove its stored data. In Edge, open Settings and use the site permissions or cookies and site-data controls to locate the same domain. Menu wording can change between browser versions.
In Firefox, open Settings, choose Privacy & Security, then use Cookies and Site Data and Manage Data. In Safari on macOS, open Settings, Privacy, and Manage Website Data. On iPhone or iPad, use the Safari settings and website-data controls within the system Settings application.
Blocking third-party cookies alone may not remove first-party local storage. Use the site-data controls when your goal is to delete the saved preference. Private browsing may discard it when the private session ends. If storage is blocked, the tool still works, but the banner may return on another page or reload.
5. Hosting, changes, and questions
This inventory describes the provided HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, not undisclosed infrastructure added by a host or later operator. A deployment that adds security cookies, analytics, embedded services, or other processors must update the inventory and obtain any consent required before enabling optional technologies.
There are no third-party maps, fonts, or image requests in this build. The contact map is a static illustration. For broader processing details and rights, read the privacy policy. Send storage-related questions through Contact, without including credentials or confidential browser exports.
